My sandwich (the VIP) had buffalo milk stracchino, anchovies, and ham from Nebrodi Black pigs. The ham/anchovy combo (with arugula, pickled chiles and pata cabra or similar cheese) has long been one of my favorites for toasties at home. This was way better than anything I've made lately. 


The others went a more traditional route with burgers made from local donkey and horse meat.
