Picnic in Duke of York Square.
Bao
Scallops with their coral, which is not eaten in the US.
More frickles.
Canelés
A pizza.
Then, dinner at Hunan, with its no-menu policy (that’s what they call it there). When I made the booking in April, I specified no pork or oysters and I pre-ordered scallops. A pretty good meal, amazing value, and corkage.
Prawn dumplings and chive dumplings.
Chicken in a lettuce cup.
Fried green beans.
Lamb
Chinese chives.
Prawns with “secret sauce”.
Fried chicken in a bag.
Monkfish
Venison
Black cod
Don’t remember.
Beef rib.
Scallop
Duck
Kung pao chicken.
Handmade noodles.
Friend
The duck, shredded.
I forgot to photograph a few dishes (more lamb, more chicken), and they forgot to serve our final course of sticky toffee pudding, but whatever.
